e-Research-Global Panel - Participating in Online Surveys or in e-Research

  1. Do you have a webpage where survey panel members can go anytime to take online surveys for cash?

    We send out email invitations for online surveys for all countries. For some countries, survey panel members can also login and take online surveys everyday for money.


  2. Why is it important to be honest and accurate when you complete the survey panel member registration form?

    We use the information from the completed survey panel member registration form (such as your gender, age, interest in particular products, services, geographic location, type of employment, etc.) and the client's survey sample criteria to randomly select participants (survey panel members) for every paid online survey or e-research study.


  3. What is involved in online surveys for the researcher?

    In order to research opinions people have, how they behave, or what their social status is, one usually must complete the six activities listed with short narrative below. Principally, there are two types of online social, market research and economic studies. Online surveys can be used to estimate how some group of people with certain characteristics, like age, gender, income, location, or the like think and behave. This type of research uses online survey samples and make some kind of estimate for the online population or those who are not online and is called quantitative research (uses quantities, like amount of money, education, or the like). The other type of research study is called qualitative study because it seeks to understand some social, consumer or other economic activity or phenomena. It is associated with online interviews (surveys with many branches) online focus groups, focus groups, personal histories, and uses conversational information rather than collects numerical information.

    The six activities necessary to complete quantitative survey research are:

    1 Research Design – Research Design is the process of developing ideas, theories, concepts and and their operationalization in terms of testable hypotheses.

    2 Sampling – Sampling is the process of selecting participants (respondents or interviewees) who may fit some criteria (for example age, gender, income, state or town, have certain health problems, or use mobile phones). In order to estimate what the general population with the similar characteristics might do, think, buy, or hold what opinion, random sampling provides a method to make these estimates. For online general population the same survey sampling procedure applies.

    3 Questionnaire – A questionnaire (online web survey or paper) provides the researcher with a method to collect numerical information on topics of interest. Usually, some introduction is provided so the respondent understands what the questionnaire is about and can make a decision whether they are competent to answer the questions that will be asked. Some studies, which use a questionnaire, are very short. Some can last an hour or more. Typically, online questionnaires seldom take more that 5 to 30 minutes to complete.

    4 Data Collection – Data collection is the method of retrieval of the information. Online surveys usually rely on emailing panel members an invitation to participate in the survey (evite) that explains the purpose of the survey. As the member is answering the questions, the questions are being recorded at the website. Once the survey is closed, the researcher can download the data and begin data analysis.

    5 Data Analysis – In order to understand, how and what the data collected relate to the theories, concepts, and hypotheses, the researcher must analyze the data to make comparisons and estimates from the data collected. The best procedure is to “run frequencies” first to find out whether the data are skewed, grouped, or otherwise fail to fit the normal curve assumption or many statistical tests. An example of a frequency is the number of persons for each age starting with the lowest age to the highest age. If the frequency data fit the normal curve, for example using a histogram, then statistics relying on the normal curve can be used. Otherwise, other methods, principally Chi-square can be used to estimate whether the data from the survey can be used to estimate the population from which the sample was taken.

    6 Reporting – Once a researcher completes the analyses, a report is written to explain, interpret, and evaluate the entire study. If others unacquainted with the study are to use the study results, a factual, concise, and understandable report should be written.   4. Why is it important to participate in the paid online survey when you are selected and sent an email invitation?

    For every study the survey sample (the selected participants) is a very important for representation of the survey population and overall success sometimes measured in the survey completion rate. In general, higher completion rates give more confidence in the survey results. Therefore, anytime we send you an email invitation, please try to take the survey.


  5. When I clicked on the survey URL, I got the message "page not found".

    This is due to email clients adding lines breaks to your email messages, causing the link to be terminated prematurely. First, try to copy and paste the entire link (without line breaks) into your browser's address bar. If you continue to have difficulty accessing the survey or e-research site, please email info@e-research-global.com immediately.


  6. When do I receive an email invitation to take an online survey or participate in e-research?

    We offer online survey and e-research services for clients who ask us to provide participants with particular characteristics they are interested in, such as gender, age, etc. Since e-Research-Global uses random sampling for selection of participants, we cannot predict when you will be asked to fill out an online web survey or participate in other types of e-research.

    If you want to increase your chances of taking surveys and earning some money, go and sign up for free (no registration fee) as some other companies also doing surveys.

    Remember, paying a registration fee usually means the company makes it money on fees not surveys. A reputable company charges no fees to sign up for surveys. If there is a company that asks you to pay, do NOT register with them.


  7. How do paid online surveys work?

    The online surveys invitations we send you are from us for our clients who are businesses, college and university faculty, graduate students and other online survey sampling and marketing research firms. Sometimes our survey clients pay us directly and we pay you through PayPal or they pay you directly though PayPal for completing the survey.


  8. Should I be alert for survey scams?

    Always be alert for Survey Scams - A Recent Example.

    www.e-Research-Global.com has received a report from a valued source that an individual or a group of individuals are posing as a different online survey and market research firm. They have been sending substantial checks in the mail along with a letter which includes the logo of this firm. Instructions in the letter direct recipients to cash the check, retain a portion of the funds for participating in a "mystery shopping" research project and to wire the remaining cash to a different account. Please be aware, www.e-Research-Global.com and other best practices firms have never sponsored such activities and note well that this is a scam intended to take your money!


  9. I haven’t received any email invitations lately asking me to complete a survey. What should I do?

    Please make sure that info@e-research-global.com and survey@pixi.com is added to your email safe-list (non-spam). Also login the panel member area and update your personal information.


  10. What is country geotargeting for online surveys?

    Most companies online survey systems use geotargeting. Geotargeting is used to make sure that the country where the survey participants are located is in fact that country. To do this, the survey participant's computer IP address is used. For example, if one has a USA IP address and the survey is for USA participants, only those persons will see the survey. Persons who say they live in USA based on their registration form answer, but their IP address is not for USA, will not see the survey. It is important to always provide the country you live in and is the same country for your computer internet provider.


  11. What is a survey router?

    A survey router directs a participant to the next available survey. e-Research-Global does NOT use survey routers. We send email inviations to a survey which is available (live). Some companies allow you to be routed to another survey, if the survey you were selected to participate is over quota (enough responses, for example from men) or already closed at the time you clicked on the survey link. Some companies just list survey routers, so you can take a survey and be submitted for a sweepstakes award. If you are interested in these types of surveys as well, click here


  12. I tried to take a survey and said did not qualify.

    Besides the information we collect to send you surveys which you may qualify, some clients has additional criteria/parameters/constraints on who can take the survey. We cannot ask all these questions in advance so that when a survey is available you will qualify each and every time.


  13. Why is my member participant award a little less than what than what was indicated.

    We use PayPal.com to send member awards. PayPal charges a small transfer fee of 2% to 3% of the total award. This PayPal fee is required to physically transfer money to your PayPal account. PayPal uses email notification of payment to you, and pays you. This method of online payment is inexpensive and secure.


  14. I have a problem with a survey.

    If you have problems with any of our surveys, please contact and provide some details on the survey title, date and time, and details on the problem.


  15. Where are the Surveys?

    We offer the opportunity to participate in more than 900 different online surveys. It is difficult to know which members are selected because each client or partner will have different requirements for the survey and data needs.

    For example, an online survey in food can be directed to a different age group or country different from yours. We hope this helps you understand. We try to do our best every day; but whom we send surveys depends on the needs of our customers and partners, and needs vary from time to time.

    When a questionnaire survey of e-Research-Global is completed, you will receive an email describing the study as payment, length of time to complete, and the subject sample. You are paid shortly after the survey closes.


  16. Do both e-Research-Global and e-RG/Elite send out surveys

    We offer the opportunity to participate in more than 900 different online surveys. It is difficult to know which members will be selected because each customer or partner will have different survey requirements and data needs. For example, an online survey in food can be directed to a different age group or country different from yours. We hope this helps you understand. We try to do our best every day; but to whom we sent surveys it depends on the needs of our customers and partners, and needs vary from time to time.


  17. Does e-Research-Global have good Information Security?

    e-Research-Global.com Inc. began in 2003, and we have been supplying online surveys and e-research since then. We only use Member information to select persons to receive online surveys or participate in e-research. We never use your personal information for any other reason, and we keep your personal information secure. We are regulated by the US government and laws, and we practice the ethics of the major national and international market research associations. And all our services to Members are free and have been since we began.


  18. I do not want to participate. I want to be deleted/removed/unsubscribed. Close my account and delete all my data. What is the process for removal?

    To be completely removed from the e-Research-Global.com and delete all of your personal data including surveys taken, awards earned, etc.,  please login to your member account and click on the link that says "Edit Your Login Details" in the top right box. From here, you can check the box that says "Remove my account and all data you have on me." and TYPE in your current email address and TYPE in your password for confirmation.  You will get a warning alert when you check the box to make sure you understand that this is permanent.  After clicking on "Update Login Details", you will be completely removed from e-Research-Global.com and given a message stating if it was successful or not.


  19. I read and write in more than one language. What language should I register?

    e-Research-Global.com registers members for paid surveys in at least 36 different languages. You should register in the language which is one that you use and is “represented in the country” in which you live to receive surveys by email invitation and in your member account. For example, in Mexico, Spanish OR for USA can be English or Spanish AND for Canada, can be English or French and for Tunisia can be Arabic or French.


  20. PayPal offers no service for my country. Is there another way to be paid?

    First, please make sure PayPal does Not service your country.  Check at PayPal.com/worldwide/  If you country is not listed, then there is no other way for payment at this time for our e-Research-Global.com panel. You can still register with us and in your member portal can also register with our other panel, e-RG/Elite, for your country if available and where we also do pay using G-Codes (virtual gifts).   22. I registered some time ago with e-Research-Global, but failed to answer any surveys. I want to start again. What do I do?

    Login to your account.  If you do NOT know your password, go to member login and enter your email address and click forgot password and follow the instructions and new password will be sent to you. If you have removed yourself previously, please register again.


  23. I received an email invitation and clicked on the survey link and before I could complete the survey the survey ended. & I am unable to open a survey sent me. What I get is an error message. Please assist.

    There is nothing more we can do. We do make every effort to only send out enough email invitations for the survey completes needed for our client  Sometimes we are unable to control when a client's survey finishes the collecting of survey data. Reasons for ending the survey earlier than expected are online surveys had lots of interest by members and good reward amount.


  24. Are surveys available for my country?

  25. Every time I try to complete a survey, I receive a message which says, "SECURITY ERROR" or "blocks" me.

    “Security error" cmay mean the survey is NOT suited for you.  The "security error" or "blocked" message also occurs when trying to cpmplete take survey, and  the Client does not accept.  There is nothing we can do in both instances.


  26. Why do some surveys appear in my member account for some areas and not other areas for surveys? Why was a survey never sent to my member account?

    This depends on two main factors, country and language the client choses for each survey.


  27. Why do I receive an error from the server error or why does the screen become "black" or why does the screen stop showing the survey?

    You should contact your Internet Service Provider as we do not control your server.  However, If you are in a survey and get server error, could be the Client's server which the survey is on. There is nothing we can do here.


  28. I am receiving my surveys in wrong language.

    For example, "I understand English rather than Arabic. Kindly send me surveys in English." In this example, you need to delete/unsubscribe/remove this member account which is not in your language, Arabic, and register again in English.


  29. I am unable to complete the registration form.

    Usually, means you did not answer a question.  You need to check your answers. Or there is something wrong with your system device.


  30. I am trying to update all of my details in the categories; health, household, car, etc. But when I click on the category, the folder opens but nothing happens. No questions appear. What is the problem?

    For some countries/languages, we do NOT have additional details for you to add in Profile area.  As more surveys by clients are requested for these categories, we will add your additional Profile questions for you to answer to better serve you with paid surveys.


  31. I wish to change my e-Research-Global login email address. How do I do it?

    Login to your member account and replace the old email address with your new email address and save.


  32. I receive surveys in my email account, but when I complete the survey, I cannot see the survey amount rewarded when I login to my member account.

    You need to examine the email invitation to see which panel the survey is from (e-Research-Global or e-RG/Elite) and then login to that panel. For example,

    If you belong to both e-Research-Global panel and e-RG/Elite panel also owned by us, use the your correct email and password for e-Research-Global.com panel and in the member survey area, you can then login to the e-RG/Elite panel using the correct email address and password which may be same or different email address and/or password..

    If you only belong to the e-RG/Elite panel only, please register as member of e-Research-Global.com panel in language of your country (one of our 36 languages), and then in member survey area, login to e-RG/Elite panel using your e-RG/Elite panel email and password.

    The only other explanation is that the Client did not accept your survey. Survey may have timed out or there was more to the survey and you thought you had completed, or you had more than one member account and the survey was a duplicate.  In all these cases and related cases, there is nothing we can do.


e-Research-Global Panel Membership

  1. Do I pay money to become a survey member or ever pay you money to be a paid research participant?

    e-Research-Global does NOT charge you to become a member. e-Research-Global will never ask you for money. e-Research-Global.com Panel Registration is free. Other websites with similar names may collect registration fees. e-Research-Global.com never has or will.


  2. Do I get paid to complete the online registration survey form?

    No, this information from you assists us in your selection for each survey. The selection characteristics are determined by us or our clients.


  3. I forgot my password.

    Please go to the e-Research-Global.com Panel Member Log In page accessible from the main (index) page of this URL - https://www.e-research-global.com/EN/Online-Surveys/, enter the email address you used to register and click the box titled "I forgot my password. Please email it to me!"


  4. I cannot login, e-Research-Global.com will not accept password.

    Please go to the e-Research-Global.com Panel Member Registration page URL - https://www.e-research-global.com/EN/Surveys-for-Money-Online/, enter the email address you wish to use to register. Please use an email address only. Then follow these rules in entering a password. We have these rules for a more "secure" e-Research-Global.com Panel Member password system.

    You MUST follow ALL of the rules:
    1) minimum 6 characters
    2) maximum 10 characters
    3) NO SPACES
    4) Both NUMBERS and LETTERS
    5) At lease ONE capital letter

    Therefore, these don't work

  5. I registered but did not receive an email confirming me as a survey panel member for paid research surveys.

    The confirmation email is automatically generated after you register and sent to the email address you provided. If the confirmation email does not arrive within 24 hours after you registered, please email The e-Research-Global Team at info@e-research-global.com and let us know.


  6. Who can join the e-Research-Global.com Survey Respondent Panel?

    Membership is open to persons from all countries. Participants must be 16 years or older to join the e-Research-Global.com Panel. The number of survey invitations a member receives is based on random sample selection and our clients' research needs within and between countries.


  7. Do I give you my PayPal address at time of survey panel registration?

    Entering your PayPal email address at time of Registration is optional. If you fail to leave your PayPal email address at time of Registration, e-Research-Global will contact you at the time of payment for each completed online web survey or participation in each e-research for your PayPal email address. If you have no PayPal account and would like to sign up for a free account, please go to the PayPal secure link at https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ or https://www.paypal.com/ for USA residents.


  8. I changed my email address and cannot login to the panel member section. What should I do?

    Only you can change your e-Research-Global.com panel member email address for YOUR SECURITY. Please log in using your old email address and password. Once you are logged in you can change your email address and update any other information to receive appropriate paid online surveys. If you forgot your password for your old email address, then you will need to register as we will not make the change based on an email requesting the email address change.


  9. What is a specialized survey community and how does e-Research-Global membership increase your chances of receiving paid surveys?

    A specialized survey community is one where members are only interested in taking surveys on a particular product or service, for example electronics or movies. New survey communities are being formed each day as more and more companies want to have a better understanding of how one uses and thinks about their products and services over time. e-Research-Global using your membership information directs you to those existing paid community surveys (for example, electronics or movie surveys). As a side benefit of membership in the e-research-global.com survey panel, we also direct you by email invitations to new survey communities which pay for your participation.


  10. What email address should I let my spam filter allow?

    Please allow info@e-research-global.com and survey@pixi.com to send you email invitations. If you do not, then will not be able to receive you confirmation for membership along with your panel member identification for paid surveys.


  11. What is the difference between a member and an affiliate?

    Members are individuals who join to participate in paid surveys. Members are sent an email invitation for each paid survey offer. Affiliates are companies or individuals who have a web site and let people know about becoming a member of the e-Research-Global.com Panel.


  12. I haven’t received my confirmation email. What should I do?

    Please make sure that info@e-research-global.com is added to your email safe-list (non-spam). You should do this before you register with us as a member. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam settings for the email you used. We follow-up in a week and try again if you are only partially registered.


  13. I read and write in more than one language. What language should I register?

    e-Research-Global.com registered members for paid surveys in at least 36 different languages. Each year another 2 or three languages are added. You should register in the language which is one that you use and is represented in the country in which you live. For example, in Mexico, Spanish or for USA can be English or Spanish and for Canada, can be English or French. If the language you are most familiar with is not listed, please use the next familiar language you use.

  15. Do I need a PayPal Account?

    We pay using PayPal. You need to have a PayPal account. You can set up a PayPal account by going to this web page: www.PayPal.com/worldwide/ and then choose your country. PayPal is safe, fast, and inexpensive. We request PayPal to make a payment to your account. They do so and email you a message stating they sent money to your PayPal account.


  16. I want to change me email address to my Facebook email address. How do I do this?

    These are two different actions.  If you want to use a different email address, you have to login and change your email address first.  This will only work if that email address is not being used already by you with us.  After that, you can click on "Login with Facebook", but the Facebook account must be registered with the same email address as your account.


e-RG/Elite Panel

  1. Is e-Research-Global Panel different from e-RG/Elite Panel?

    Yes!
    Both panels are owned by e-Research-Global.com Inc. e-RG/Elite Panels are managed by Cint and all awards from these e-RG/Elite panels are paid by Cint.Need 100 points to redeem cash award for e-RG/Elite Panel. Can take up to 10 days once you click redeem and money is transferred to you PayPal account.


  2. Login for e-RG/Elite Panel?

    Login at e-Research-Global.com, then can login to e-RG/Elite Panel.


  3. How do I get surveys?

    We send out email invitations to our members selected for any particular survey. This email provides information on the survey we want you to fill out such as topic, length of time to complete, payment amount and the like. We are unable to guarantee you will get any particular type of amounts of surveys because who we send surveys to depends upon the needs of out clients and partners.


  4. Where do I find my e-RG/Elite account balance, activity and payout?

    Below are some instructions for accessing your e-Research-Global and your e-RG/Elite member accounts.                      

    The best way for you is to login to your e-Research-Global account through this link https://www.e-research-global.com/EN/Online-Surveys-Login-for-Members/ Once you enter there, click on Panel Member Surveys. You can also access your member account at e-RG/Elite also and get a password. You can also view your profile, surveys, etc. If you do not know the password for your e-RG/Elite account, please contact Cint using this email address: membersupport@cint.com or get a new password by clicking Forgot Password and follow the instructions. 

    If you have further problems with your e-RG/Elite member account, you should contact Cint support personnel at this email address membersupport@cint.com.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

    How to receive a payment to your PayPal account
    To begin, you must have a PayPal.com account. If you need to set up an account, go to PayPal.com and and you will be able to open one there. You need to have 100 or more reward points to request a payment. When you use PayPal as a payment option, money is paid to a your PayPal account with the same email address that was used for receiving surveys. If you already have a PayPal account with a different email address, you can add the email address to receive surveys. This option can be found in your PayPal account under profile settings.
    1. Log in to your e-RG/Elite member account.
    2. Then click "My earned points"
    3. Once you have reached the amount redeemable, click the "update" button and your money will be transferred to your online account at PayPal. May take up to 10 days before reward shows in your PayPal account.
    4. Please make sure you login to your PayPal account to accept transfer.
    5. There is a fee of 2% per transaction for PayPal payments.
    6. If your payment goes unclaimed for 30 days, rewards will be returned to your e-RG/Elite member account managed by Cint. You can also transfer funds at a later date.

  5. How do I cash out, redeem my rewards?

    Completed surveys from e-Research-Global are paid once you have been rewarded $2.00 or more. Completed surveys from e-RG/Elite are paid when you have at least 100 points which is equal to $12.50 (USD) and make a request for payment using Redeem. Payment is made within a day or two for our e-Research-Global survey rewards.  For our e-RG/Elite panel rewards can take up to 10 days.


  6. My e-RG/Elite member account balance was reduced, can you explain?

    The reasons are many. Most often it is because of the survey was a "duplicate" and you were already awarded.  You may have taken the survey from another source for same survey project. Other reasons are:
    1. The client rejected the survey answers after review.
    2. Bad geo-location (IP address) - Not the intended geographic location (country, state/province/city) for the survey.
    3. Fraud was suspected.

    This is automated, and nothing we can do here.
